How can I get red ribbons?
This year we are delighted that top UK retailers are coming together to support World AIDS Day. Gap, H&M, MAC, British Red Cross and Selfridges have joined with NAT (National AIDS Trust) to make red ribbons available across the UK.
The Red Ribbon is the international symbol of support for people living with HIV. Wearing a red ribbon is a great way to raise awareness about HIV as well as to break down stigma and prejudice, so make sure you get yours in time for World AIDS Day! Red Ribbons will be available across the UK and Ireland to mark World AIDS Day, 1 December:
- Gap - Ribbons will be available in all high street stores across the UK from 29 November until 2 December.
- H&M - Ribbons will be available in all high street stores across the UK and Ireland from 24 November until 7 December. Click here to find an H&M store near you.
- MAC - Ribbons will be available at 40 MAC counters in the UK from now until early-December.
- British Red Cross - Ribbons will be available in a selection of Red Cross charity shops across the UK from now until 15 December. Click here to find your local Red Cross shop, and click here to download a list of participating shops.
